Last night was SO FUN (I went back and edited that... you'll see as the post goes along)! It ended up just being me and Rebecca. And we were both SO TIRED. And Rebecca drank a Coke! This never happens. It was a historical moment. Anyway, we saw Joe's band and they were SO GOOD. (I am apparently on a SO ADJECTIVE kick today.) Like as far as being really tight musically they totally rocked it. And it was fun energetic funky music that you can't help but have fun while listening to. We also met some cool people. This one guy Adam was SO CUTE but then he ended up being a smoker which subtracted like all his cuteness points. Oh well. And the Rays game was on in the background and they won!!!! Go Rays :D Also, we had this amazing pizza. It was black bean based, with sausage, green peppers, onions, and cheese. It's like if a burrito and a pizza had a baby. Yum! (Brian, on the off chance you're reading this, you would love this place. Tons of beer, and amazing tomato-free pizza! What more can you ask for!)

I have somehow managed to not mention that today I am going to The Rescue tonight. (Score, that was still on my clipboard and I didn't have to type it!) I've been to Invisible Children's other events so this one should be good! And Aaron Gillespie from Underoath/The Almost is going to be there, so that's always exciting.

I was looking to see if I'd made posts about the other IC events, and I only made one for the one in 2007, but I found a post whereby I apparently have a history of operations managers who were motivational speakers in another life. Haha.

Today is Emily's birthday! Happy birthday, you are totes not reading this but whatever!
Today is Michael's anniversary. I think he'd come with me to The Rescue if he was still around. And, ya know, lived in FL. Can't believe it's been 17 years...
